Egypt Feared WHO After the Exodus? (with archeological receipts)

In this episode, we are tracking down the “Forgotten Seed” of Abraham: the Kenites. We’re going to connect the dots between that mysterious inscription in Sudan, a copper mining camp in the Timna Valley, and a priest named Jethro who lived in the shadow of the Mountain of God.

We’ve been told the story of the Exodus is about God introducing Himself to a world that didn’t know Him. But the archaeological evidence suggests something different. It suggests that when Moses fled Egypt, he didn’t just run into a random desert; he walked into a theology class. He went to meet the people who had kept the faith alive while Israel had amnesia.

We’re going to look at the “receipts” in the dirt: the Soleb inscription that ties the name Yahweh to the land of the nomads, the discovery of a tabernacle in Timna that predates Moses (complete with a copper serpent), and the sophisticated “Qurayyah Painted Ware” pottery that proves these nomads were masters of technology and trade.

This is the story of how God used the outsiders to save the insiders. It’s the mystery of the Kenites—the people who didn’t get the Land or the Covenant, but who might have been the ones who actually kept the Faith.

If you love biblical history, archaeology, and the parts of the Bible that usually get skipped over in Sunday School, this deep dive is for you. Let’s find out who really taught Moses who God was.
