The Gnostics are particularly adept at pushing this particular form of line. Insinuating the God of the Old Testament who wrote the prophecies and Created His son different than the God of the New Testament, and The Son who Fulfilled those prophecies. See past the fake expertise and look at the context of the verses he cites. That’s literally all it will take to see through this gnostic nonsense.
For example, scripture is filled with examples like Job 1:6-12. “And YHWH said to Satan” etc or Rev. 2:9 – 9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
